Surprise Acoustic Show

2022 World Tour Spring/Summer Arlington Theatre • Santa Barbara, CA, USA

This was a fully acoustic show, the first one performed by the band outside of Australia. The River contained Wah Wah teases. Muddy Water featured Ambrose on sax. Cookie and Ambrose played on the same piano during Mr. Beat. Blame It On The Weather was introduced by Ambrose as a song about the weather in Melbourne, as well as being introduced as a song about Ambrose's dog by Stu. In the intro to The Bitter Boogie, which also featured Ambrose on sax, Joey says that the show is a "beta test" and asks if any of the crowd are going to Coachella, which the band played two days later. Dirt and Hot Water featured Mildlife guitarist Adam Halliwell on flute. Most Of What I Like also featured Ambrose on sax. The solo in Let Me Mend The Past was ommitted. Her and I featured Mildlife drummer Jim Rindfleish on congas and contained a Sleepwalker quote and tease and Crumbling Castle teases.
