A blisteringly fast and wet The Dripping Tap. An intense rain storm rolled in shortly before the band took the stage, concerning Ambrose in particular as he voiced his fear for his life throughout the performance. Out of the second chorus a familiar, yet faster than usual, jam emerges. The band wastes little time re-entering the song proper with a frenetic and energetic finish. Following the song, the show was halted for 22 minutes due to torrential downpour.

A long and wild jam highlights one of Stu’s now signature crowd-surfing river dips. Alternate Antarctica lyrics from Amby and a plethora of teases - notably 46 & 2 (Tool) for a large duration - soundtrack Stu’s departure and return. A closing Tap to end all closer Taps.

A masterclass in teasing and a very classically gizz approach to The Dripping Tap. A blissful jam opens up after the second chorus, with Antarctica teases and quotes driving the jam towards a rewarding peak. One of the greatest ways to open a tour.

An atypical and jammy intro sees Ambrose wander into the crowd, from where he eventually begins the song. Following the first chorus, a lengthy minor key jam emerges that grows increasingly tense and dark. Quotes and teases of Crumbling Castle and Cellophane build up to an intense peak. Returning back to the second jam section, the band weaves Head On/Pill into a jam reminiscent of the Dead-inspired progressions that popped up throughout the summer. The longest version to date, and worth every minute.

Though not its usual immaculate, tight self, the Asheville “Tap” finds the band stretching out into new territory and mapping out “The Land Before Timeland”.

A bloodcurdling scream, a hypertensive first jam, a hellish itch, and a Pill to cure all ills; this show-closing jam vessel travels far and wide with its bodily imagery. The Gizzy Boys’ rhythm section lock a tight grip on “drip drip” while Stu, Amby, and Joey rip (especially during the coda jam, holy “Tap”)!

A more melodious jam than the Best Kept Secret “Tap” accompanies Stu’s (now customary?) Lake Perris plunge. Amby rips some harmonica, improvises some lyrics, and then implores the crowd: “Can we have our singer back on the stage?” It would be a mistake to dismiss this fun, funny, and creative version as a mere retread!

Still in its infancy, this "Tap" bears witness to an inspired Stu dueting on flute with Cecil Coleman (Body Type) for a little "flute jam." Some nice harmonic interplay and Am I In Heaven?-style vamping ensues before a bevy of proper teases and quotes in the customary energetic run up to the coda.
